Many users struggled to effectively manage their personal finances, lacking a simple and intuitive tool to create and track budgets. Existing budget calculators were often complex, overwhelming, or lacked essential features like customisable categories and clear visual representations of spending. Users needed a way to better understand their spending habits and make informed financial decisions.
User Interviews: Conducted interviews to understand user budgeting habits, pain points, and desired features.
Usability Testing: Tested wireframes and prototypes with users to validate design decisions and identify usability issues.
Competitive Analysis: Analysed existing budget calculator apps and tools to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
User feedback: During the beta testing phase, user feedback was collected and the calculator was adjusted accordingly.
